Fax«Star Advanced Server Features
The Fax«Star Advanced Server runs
on a dedicated NT 4.0 workstation. It acts as a truly modern and efficient
communication server. Due to the NT platform, this network faxing
solution will be stronger and MUCH FASTER.
The Fax«Star Advanced Server has been designed
as a powerful high-end system. It utilizes MAPI (Mail API) which allows
the system to send mail. In addition, it will interface with
mail software such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange and SMTP mail Servers.

- Faxes and mail can be sent from any host in the network
- Faxes can be sent from any P.C. (Windows) in the network

Routing Capabilities
The possibilities for routing incoming faxes and mail is extremely impressive.
Incoming faxes can be routed to: a user directly, a user mail-box, Fax«Star
Windows, another fax number, or any directory on the network. Of course,
faxes can be printed on any printer attached to the network. You can keep
a copy of incoming faxes on the server in a specific format. You can also
e-mail a copy of these faxes in a specific format to a particular e-mail
address.

between MS Exchange and Fax«Star.
It also provides an interface between MS Exchange and Fax«Star
Windows. Fax«Star Exchange Mail
Gateway allows you to fax any message you can e-mail. That includes
MS Office documents and many other application documents. You
can fax as easily as you send any e-mail.
Fax«Star Exchange Mail Gateway also allows
you to view your sent and failed faxes in MS Exchange or in the Fax«Star
Windows Queue program. You can even receive fax confirmations (sent,
failed, received) via e-mail to your MS Exchange account. In addition,
incoming faxes can be routed using CSID, DID, DTMF, or LINE routing to
your MS Exchange e-mail account.
All faxes simply appear as attachments in your MS Exchange e-mail account.
